A joint report by the Centre for Mental Health and the
LSE, has found that the cost to the nation of mental health issues among
pregnant and post-natal women is at least £8 billion annually.
The Department of Health has stated in response, that it
was investing in mental health.
It would be more helpful to know how that investment will
adequately ease the problem.
