The Community Mental Health survey has been published. Among its findings are:

- users are not having sufficient contact with services
- a lack of understanding of what users find important to them
- a lack of user involvement in care decisions
- the service does not support users in their lives or goals
- 1 in 3 people is not told who to contact in a crisis.

It would seem necessary that service providers ensure that staff training/re-training is given a high priority.
